The Legacy Collection is where you will find the photos that Dan cherishes the most. These images are not for the masses, and are only available in the highest quality and in large formats. When lit indirectly and from the top down, they exude a high level of sharpness and vibrancy. They represent some of his fondest memories, and moments in his life that can never be reproduced. All prints are marked, “Legacy” in the lower right corner for authentication and they arrive to your doorstep ready to install straight out of the box.

These images are representative of Dan’s passion for the outdoors and at times, they provide a glimpse into the culture of his hobbies, hometown, and regions that he has traveled to. Both Canvas and Metal prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Dan has found a product called a Hercules Hook works best for sheetrock displays. It has a high weight limit, leaves a small hole, and doesn’t require any tools. Product Linked HERE.

We recommend a viewing distance that is 3x the length of the longest edge or farther. If a print is 30”x45”, that would equate to an ideal viewing distance of about 12’ or more. The larger the print, the farther the viewing distance.

For metal prints, displaying the artwork in an indirectly lit environment is ideal. Metal prints have a glossy finish and are reflective like a mirror. Dan prefers to display metal prints adjacent to a window where no direct sunlight comes in. If there isn’t any natural light in the area you hope to display the artwork, another option is to light the artwork with artificial lighting from the top down. We recommend consulting with an interior designer if you choose that route.
Canvas prints on the other hand are very easy to light. They are far less reflective and can be more of a light absorber than a light reflector. We would still recommend displaying these pieces in an indirectly lit environment, however, the bigger concern for canvas is moisture. Canvas prints need to be displayed in cool, dry areas. Moist areas, like a bathroom are not ideal for artwork in general, and will cause pre-mature wear and warping. Please consult with an interior designer for more information regarding displaying artwork in your home.

Metal prints can be wiped clean with a non-ammonia based product. Diluted water and vinegar solution with a soft micro fiber towel has worked well for me. We recommend spraying the rag, not the artwork directly, and using a brand new rag is always ideal.
Canvas prints usually just need a regular dry-dusting, and most of the dust collects on the top edge of the canvas wrap. We recommend dry dusting to minimize the risk of removing the ink resulting in the diminishing of color and vibrancy.
